Update: Due to questionable members joining and then posting comments to adult websites I am requiring new members to prove their membership in OBOD. Please message me with the following information once you've joined failure to do so will result in being deleted from group. Message me with the following passages: BARDIC PRINTED Gwers 3, Page 55, Sentence 1
I am currently in the Ovate level of OBOD and wish to create this group for members of The Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids in the Pasco County FL and surrounding areas. All members of OBOD are welcome to join regardless of age, gender, or "skill level." The goal of 3 Realms Grove is to provide a safe place to support each other on our OBOD path, make a difference in our environment, and celebrate the High Days through ritual and ceremony. It is my hope to become a recognized Grove within the Order when we have met the requirements to do so.
This is not a Gwersi study group. Per OBOD website: "Should we study the Gwersi in meetings? Since the members of a group will not be following the course at exactly the same pace, and because of the uniqueness of the journey through the gwersi for each individual, it is not recommended, and not at all practical, to try to study the gwersi together in a group."
If you are having trouble with your lessons it is suggested that you contact your mentor. We can have study related to OBOD Druidry in general (ancestors, spirits of place, meditation, etc. that are not Gwers specific).
This is a family friendly group. Children and non OBOD spouses/partners may attend gatherings. However once we obtain Grove status some events will only be open to OBOD members.
DISCLAIMER: I am adding this here due to a recent conversation I had with a prospective member. This group does not work "skyclad" (ritual nudity.) It is not a polyamourous hookup group (although members who identify that way are welcome. What consenting adults do in their own time is their business.) There is no "great rite," ritual sex, etc in OBOD rituals within this group. This group is strictly for OBOD members to gather together in celebration and study.
