UPDATE #6: If you were unable to secure a spot for this event online, you have the option of "flying standby." There are usually 6 no-shows for this event, so you just might be able to get on board. Make sure to come early with exact cash.
UPDATE #5: I will be in front of the Farmers Market on Davis Mills Road and will check people in from 5:45 - 6:15pm. Look for the red flag! Please account for traffic delays! Once we're on the hayride, there's no turning back!
UPDATE #4: Per the Rain Policy in the event posting, and although the forecast for rain has diminished greatly from earlier forecasts, enough weather reports have said there's a high percentage chance for thunderstorms during the latter half of our event, so for everyone's safety, I'm rescheduling to Sat. Oct. 5th, same time, same place. If you are unable to make the new date, please email me NO LATER THAN end of day Tues. Sept. 24th for a full refund. No refunds will be given after that date. See you there!

UPDATE #2: There are 9 early bird spots left and the price will increase from $25 to $30 when the early bird spots are gone or before Sat. Sept. 14th (whichever comes first). To be fair to those who want to join in and are ready to make payment, I'll be removing those that haven't paid by Sun. Sept. 8th. So make payment to *truly* lock in your spot.

Let's get together for an evening hayride and campfire!
I've made special arrangements with a popular orchard in Maryland for this event. We'll start the evening off with a hayride at sunset around Butler's farm and then we'll gather around a bonfire roasting marshmallows and hotdogs!
We will meet at the Farm Market parking lot with the Butler’s Orchard Hayride Coordinator. Then we'll drive together and park at the bonfire site. (Please do not park at the Farm Market.)
We will check everyone in from 5:45 - 6:15pm. The hayride wagon will depart the campsite at 6:30pm! Please do not be late or you will be left behind. Don't forget to account for traffic delays. The hayride will last 45 minutes. Upon returning to the campsite, we will enjoy a roaring campfire where marshmallows, hotdogs, and other treats will be provided for us to roast! Please bring your own beverages... alcohol is allowed at the site. The campfire will die down around 9:45pm.
We recommend bringing lawn chairs, blankets, glow-in-the-dark frisbee or football, some spooky stories to share, and your own beverage!
We've got an early bird special for this event of just $25 (the price of dinner at a restaurant)! The first 45 paid sign-ups, or those who pay before Sat. Sept. 14th (whichever comes first) get the early bird price! After that, it will go up to $30.
Also please know that your RSVP is not guaranteed unless we receive payment. When you pay, your online receipt is confirmation that we have received your payment.

Take 495 to 270 North towards Frederick. Take exit 16A Father Hurley Blvd. (take the right ramp 16A towards Damascus). Follow Father Hurley (Route 27) for about 1.5 miles and make a right onto Brink Road. Go about .5 miles on Brink Road and take a left onto Wildcat Road. Follow Wildcat for about a mile until you come to a stop sign. Make a left at the stop sign onto Davis Mill Road. Go up a .25 mile, the meeting spot will be the market on your left.

Payment Instructions (Paypal account not required)
Please follow the instructions below for making payment. Payment at the door will be permitted only should the event not sell out. Most of our events do sell out, so we recommend you secure your spot online early.
1. Select "Yes" under "Will you attend?"
2. Enter the number of guests coming and click "rsvp"
3. Verify correct dollar amount for number of people you're paying for, click "Pay Now" button
4. If you don't have a Paypal account, click "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card"
5. If you have a Paypal account, simply log in, and pay as you normally would via Paypal
We will have a master list of all those that have paid. It’s not required, but I recommend printing out your payment confirmation as a backup. When you check-in, your RSVP will be listed under the name of the Paypal or credit card account used to make payment. Typically, this is your LEGAL name as shown on your driver's license. Sometimes, it may be under a company name if you set up your Paypal or credit card account that way. If you are not sure what it is, please take a moment to log into your Paypal account (it will say "Welcome, [your account name]" at the top) or your credit card account to find out. If you are RSVP'd under someone else's payment, please use that name for check-in.
Refund Policy & Ticket Resell
Since we paid in advance for this event, all sales are final unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. Similar to a concert ticket or a football game ticket, you are free to sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. I suggest posting in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and send us an email letting us know who will be taking your spot. Thanks for understanding. =)
If it's light rain, we're still on. If there's lightning, we'll need to reschedule or cancel. Hopefully, if there is precipitation, it will just be a passing rain. If it looks like there might be possible rain, I'll post an update by 3pm the day of the event. If we cancel, or reschedule and you are unable to make the new date, you will get a full refund.
