The story of Jackie Robinson, the legendary baseball player who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier when he joined the roster of the Brooklyn Dodgers. 42 stars Harrison Ford as the innovative Dodger's general manager Branch Rickey, the MLB executive who first signed Robinson to the minors and then helped to bring him up to the show, and Chadwick Boseman as Robinson, the heroic African American who was the first man to break the color line in the big leagues.

LOVED IT!!! Learned a lot and was inspired at the same time. Thanks so much for organizing the event, Nana!

Great flick! This was the "quiet" version of Jackie's life, well documented. There will be another movie coming out in 2015 called Jackie Robinson that will focus more on his life outside of baseball. I love that Jackie's wife Rachel is going on the talk shows and promoting the movie and her husband legacy. Checkout Jackie Robinson playing himself in this movie about himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCBoskYx3Is&wide=1

I tag Jackie Robinson as the Muhammad Ali of baseball, someone who speaks their mind without regrets.

Ticket purchased; seat J-13. This is "Reserved" and not "Premium". Remember, if you have the Extras card, you can go through the "green room" on top right and you don't pay the service fee. See you at the movies!

This was an excellent movie. Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford were awesome. Such a great supporting cast too.
