Skulk through a haunted trail, hunting down zombies along the way!
Each player receives admission, rental gear, a gun, and 50 paintballs. Zombie Safaris begin October 4 and run from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. 140 extra paintballs can be purchased for $10 more. Admission is $20, but we have 1/2 price tickets($10) for the first 8 people to purchase them. After that you can still pay the regular $20 price at the door.
During the Safari, players take to a half-mile interactive haunted trail to fight off an zombie invasion. Armed with Tippman Custom 98 paintball markers, players put their undead-slaying skills to the test across a quarter-mile of zombie-saturated landscapes. The zombie hordes lurch and lumber, but don't shoot back, so players needn't worry about dodging painful incoming paintballs. Great for beginner paintballers! We will meet at the Paintball Explosion parking lot at 6p. Marco & Robin live closer to Dundee and so will not be organizing a carpool, but perhaps those coming from downtown would like to arrange to ride together. Approx 45 min from Chicago. Post in the comments if you are interested.
Paintball Explosion began when a group of paintball fanatics decided to make their dreams a reality and set about designing eight different fields of movie-set quality. Located just a 40-minute drive outside of Chicago, the real-life fantasy land they created includes the sci-fi-inspired, concrete environs of Code Black Field as well as the abandoned amusement-park setting of Biohazard Field.
The expansive facility also sports indoor and outdoor speedball fields for adrenaline-fueled fastness. Between matches, gamers can prepare at heated buildings with locker rooms and showers. Paintball Explosion has an onsite sports bar and grill, stay for drinks, eats & swapping horror stories after our zombie hunt- with your CBPSN friends who survived...;-)
