The New York Social Network (NYSN) has been planning events in and around the city since 2004! There is something to choose from almost every night and several options each weekend! It can be hard to figure out which ones may be best for you, especially if you have never been out before.
If you are new to the group or a long time member, this is a fun night to meet others and find out what what we have planned in the coming months. NYSN founder Dave Cervini will be on hand with our staff to welcome all New Members and introduce you to our long time members. You will enjoy drink specials, complimentary hot and cold appetizers and lot's of room to socialize network and connect.
This will also be a great opportunity to see what we have in store for 2017.
The World Bar is a nice lounge with lot's of room to sit or wander around while meeting others.
Other Meet Up and Social Networking groups/organizations often invite their members so you also get to network with people from similar groups.
The night will include:
- Complimentary hot and cold appetizers until 9pm
- Drink specials until 9pm
- Music played at conversational levels
Can I come alone? Yes, 95% of those attending tend to come on their own.
What to expect: 60-80 people fairly even split of men and women ages 20's -40's, singles and some couples. Most are there to network and connect.
What to wear: trendy, neat, business casual
How do I get there? take any of the green line trains to 42nd Grand Central or 51st street. Then a short walk towards the East River
How long does it go? We usually start breaking up around 11:30-Midnight
