SF Bay Area 3D Vision & Kinect Hacking Pages

We're a group of hackers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and product developers interested in how 3D computer vision is going to change the world. The Kinect is the most broadly deployed and cheapest 3D vision system in the world today, and as a result most of us are focused on using it in our projects. Members are working on projects in computer game interfaces, augmented reality, robotics, virtual worlds, visual effects, 3D mapping, and other applications.

New to the Kinect and want to get started?

Here are a couple of good sets of instructions (I meant to post these a while ago for people who are just getting started)

OpenNI on Windows and Mac: (see Install Notes)

ROS/OpenNI on Linux (first) (second)
