The day will involve an outdoor dance session followed by a simple sharing circle and time to be still in nature.
The workshop will take place just after the May-day festival of Beltane and the woods should be in full bloom with the end of the bluebell season. We will dance on the paths around the bluebells in this public park (whilst being very careful not to squish them underfoot...) Dance session will take place using silent disco headsets so that there is no noise pollution to the surrounding environment.
When we dance we can drop down out of our minds, landing back in to our bodies- giving ourselves the gift of our own attention: moving with the mystery- inside and outside us. There are no steps to learn- just a willingness to dive into the dance and to be with our own experience.
We will let nature nurture us, recharging, refreshing, renewing ourselves with shared time outdoors, coming back in to closeness with what is wild and wonder-filled within us and around us.
Please bring an afternoon snack to share and a thermos of tea of you have one.
Weather: This event takes place England in spring- it may well rain! (though please hold the vision of sunshine...) If it is grey, or drizzly then the event will go ahead and we will stay warm under the shelter of trees, wearing lots of layers and using the dance top keep us warm- and no refunds for weather will be given.
If full-on torrential rain/storms are forecast then we will cancel the event by 7pm on Sunday 5th May Cancellation notifications will be sent out via meetup and a full refund to anyone booked will be given.
I hope to see you there.
Much dancing love,
