Thank you for taking the time to check us out!

Welcome to our site; we are an active group of people who stutter or stammer, or have some sort of speaking challenge. We meet regularly face-to-face, socially and more formally, to support and help each other and any guest who is interested in what we do.

We welcome members of all ages from all walks of life to come out and share at least once every 6 months with other members and guests. We are always delighted to see members and their guests ... there’s no dress code, no pretense and, most importantly, no pressure to talk or be fluent”

Everything is always FREE of charge but, to be cost effective for our sponsors and to get to know our valued members, we have a maximum membership of 50 people.

Those who, for whatever reason, cannot commit to ‘once every 6 months’ are invited to join our sister group on FaceBook, ‘Toronto People Who Stutter’ … https://www.facebook.com/groups/TorontoPWS/ … That group has no maximum and welcomes stutterers, stammerers and everyone with an interest in speech enhancements (including Speech & Language Pathologists and other speech professionals) wherever you are located.

Although all meetups are also posted on FaceBook group with an open invitation to everyone to come along as a guest, we urge active People Who Stutter to join both groups for a deeper wider experience.

While membership and meetups are always free of charge to members and guests, sometimes a small donation is requested to help defray photocopy costs, meetup.com fees, any room-rental fee or any food or beverage.”

Please feel free to post anything fun, encouraging or useful but nothing that's negative, inappropriate or commercial (such will be deleted).

Thank you for checking us out, we look forward to having you as a member!

Cheers, Peter H.
