This performance is a rehearsed reading by Polly, as part of the development of the production. Listen to the story and give your feedback on an original work! The storyline: “After having discovered some letters from an Italian Prisoner of War to my grandmother in North Wales after he was placed on my grandparents’ farm after his capture in WW2- I have now written a first draft of a play on the subject of POWs in North Wales. The story focuses on the interactions between Mario, a Northern Italian POW and farmers Dai and Elizabeth Williams plus echoes of the political tensions of the time and today” For more detail go to https://exeterstreethall.org/event/friends-of-enemies/ Doors open 7.00pm, performance starts 7.30pm. Hi Everybody We invite all members to come along for a chat about future meetups. This is a great opportunity to have a discussion about what we would like to do together this year. Please come along and share your thoughts. We would particularly welcome new members and those who have not yet attended one of our events. As a group we try hard to be inclusive and welcome everyone into our events. Spring and summer are on the horizon so put your thinking hats on and let's make this a great year for the socialites!
