Hike @ Alley Pond Park

             This Hike is a Sierra Club Event ...

                                          Alley Pond Park

Second-largest public park in Queens, New York. It occupies[masked] acres. The land that makes up Alley Pond Park was acquired over the course of many years between 1927 and the present. The landscape itself, however, came into existence roughly 15,000 years ago, during the Pleistocene Epoch, when a passing glacier carved out the landscape of New York City.

This park is short walk from several bus stops.

There are multiple parking lots for this park we will meet at the 76th Ave Parking Lot.

Bring some water, Bananas or Granola Bars, Bug Repellant & Sunblock.

Please Don't Forget the Positive MOOD  AND YOUR CAMERA

Duration approx 3+ hours, approx 6+ miles

                                         AFTER PARTY !!!

After the Hike, we will Relax - Talk - Hangout - Chill @ local diner for some well deserved food !!!

    UPDATE: Its supposed to be somewhat chilly day, please dress in layers. You will warm up after walking for 10 minutes or so. Also please refrain from posting any negative comments about the weather... it generates an unnecessary email to everyone... we all know its winter so it will be cold... :-)
