Running Outside and Safety

Hello Fellow Runners!

Since so many of us are running outside now with the gorgeous weather, I thought I should let our members know about Road ID. I just purchased a Road ID bracelet for myself to wear during my practice runs and during races. I have my name, town where I live, two emergency contact phone numbers, the fact that I have Lupus, no medical allergies and a little inspirational quote all on my ID. If you go to www.roadid.com, they have a variety of choices and colors. And I found a discount code at www.retailmenot.com. If you enter ARR6887 for a promo code when checking out, you save $2.00. Altogether, I spent $21 and some change which included shipping. I think it's money well spent. It's also great for other sports like cycling and swimming. Yes, the Road ID is waterproof! I prefer the bracelet as opposed to the ID that is attached to your shoe but they have both options.  Anyway, hope all of you are doing well.  It was fantastic to see some of you on Sunday at Max's O'Hartford 5k.  See you at the next race!
