What we're about

This is a meet-up for women who want to write more creatively. And, in turn, live a more creative, self-expressed life.

This is the group for you if you want regular, fun, upbeat, writing workouts. Whether you write for work (your own business, or someone else’s); are a professional writer; or just want to rekindle your creative spark, this group can give you the creative push you need.

Led by Greta Solomon, a writing trainer and self-expression coach with 10 years of experience leading workshops, groups and individuals, the aim is to build your writing and self-expression muscles.

During these 60-minute, mini-workshops, you'll practice a core writing technique, discuss blocks and ways to free up creativity, get inspired and network with other creative people. You’re not alone in wanting to pursue your creative dreams, and this meet-up is a practical way to learn key tools and techniques, while getting that all-important support.

Meet-ups will cost £10 per session, and will take place at different venues in London.

60-Minute Journaling Workout

This 60-minute journaling workout is for anyone who wants to journal Perhaps you find it difficult to journal alone and feel blocked or unsure of how to do it, or what to write about. Maybe you’re a professional writer in search of some inspiration. Or maybe you avidly journal and want to seek out a community of like-minded people. ALL are welcome, and we’ll use prompts and exercises from the book Heart, Sass & Soul: Journal Your Way to Inspiration and Happiness. You can pick up a copy on Amazon (but this is optional). Remember to bring a pen and a notebook. The agenda 6.30pm – 7pm: Arrival and settling in with cups of tea. 7pm – 7.20pm: After a short welcome, we’ll do a mindset exercise and a writing exercise to get you loosened up and get your writing flowing. 7.20pm – 7.50pm: We’ll 30 minutes of journaling. I’ll provide ideas and prompts, or alternatively you can do freewriting on the things you need and want to write about. 7.50pm – 8pm: Everything you write in your journal is private, but we’ll spend the last 10 minutes sharing our insights from the session. Writing and journaling are SO powerful but writing in groups has its own special energy. And sometimes you just need to be shoulder-to-shoulder and eye-to-eye with fellow writers and creativity seekers. By journaling in this way, you can write your own stories, share your successes and mine your experiences for the gems they contain. I look forward to seeing you!
