The Innovation Club presents: Does size really matter, when it comes to Innovation?

For our Brisbane Innovation Club meetup, we will be exploring the debate on how to be innovative, how to stay innovative and how to encourage it with in your organisation.

As part of this will be trying to answer the question, Does size really matter? The context of size relating to that of the Company. Do Startups really have the edge on innovation against a corporation that has been in business for 20 years. How does a large software enterprise, maintain a innovative edge, motivate its staff to think bigger and go to market against the smaller startups that are out there to take margin.

Matt in his own words: The one sentence: academia, then built and sold two startups, then came to Microsoft to build products that drive behavior change through technology. Currently at Microsoft Ventures.
The longer version: I tend to be working at the intersection of behavior change and business. Originally an academic (social psychologist), I started translating what we know about the psychology of human behavior into creating products that change those behaviors.
