** About the speakers and Lightspeed Ventures:
Yoni Cheifetz leads the firm’s investment activity in Israel with areas of interest that include Internet, digital media, mobile, communications, software, semiconductors, and clean tech. Prior to becoming a VC, Yoni was a serial entrepreneur for sixteen years, serving as a co-founder, CEO, chairman, or investor in several software companies, including: Demantra (acquired by Oracle), Agentics (acquired by Mercado), Earnix and Traiana (acquired by ICAP).
David Gussarsky joined Lightspeed in 2008 from BRM and focuses on the firm’s investment efforts in Israel, with a focus on the enterprise infrastructure, communications and semiconductors sectors. Prior to being a VC, David was the CEO of Parpar2, an internet startup.
Yoni and David will discuss pitholes that fundraising presents - This is particularly geared at early-stage startups looking for investments, after the talk there will be an opportunity to approach them directly and discuss your startup.
