Official Critique and Discussion Meeting

The purpose of the group will be to assist fellow writers with their immediate, short term writing goals. Whether you're a beginner poet or a published novelist, you are welcome to attend and share. All genres are welcome.

Please plan on bringing a short piece to read aloud. If you don't have anything or are uncomfortable in the beginning, you are more than welcome to come and participate in the discussion.

Generally, everyone arrives about 5-10 minutes early and signs in. We read in the order of sign-in; the moderator reads last. Latecomers get added to the end of the list. Depending on the number of people, writers read aloud and share their work for about 5-10 minutes, and the group then offers critiques and discusses the piece for 5-15 minutes.

While not required, some writers prefer to bring copies of their work for people to follow along/make marks.
