"I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in." –John Muir (Scottish-born American naturalist 1838-1914) This is a call to those interested in developing the reciprocal flow and communication between inner and outer nature. We’ll meet in nature, walk the land, sit and imagine (and hopefully realize) a flow and conversation between our inner and outer worlds. We’ll meet the psyche of the world and the psyche of our selves where they are and assume that what arises needs to be seen and heard at our gatherings. We will also honor the presence and integrity of silence and its voice in our conversation. This won’t be therapy and we will create guidelines that make the space safe and yet open. We will share some dreams, listen deeply to our hearts and the heart of the earth, read and recite some poetry, and create some ceremony and ritual that embodies some of the truths we see and feel. We hope to encounter the anima mundi, glimpse the unus mundus and move further onto the path of soul with humility and some daring... You are: interested in community, psychologically aware, open to (if not actively in service to) mystery, curious and active in your imagination, interested in change and sustainability.
