After an impressive 6th place position at the 2nd global WebXR Hackathon (http://hackathon.virtuleap.com) that finalized last month, Debra Anderson (host of Immersive NYC) and Brian Chirls from Datavized, will share why and how they built their Hackathon project "Datavized WebXR4SDGs" (https://hackathon.virtuleap.com/apps/details/hd) in this following workshop!
• What we'll do
We will be talking about the development and design of an A-Frame based project for data visualization.
After everyone is set up with their dev environment and git repo (alternatively members can use Glitch), we will create examples of the presented workflow.
• What to bring
Fully charged laptops and smartphones to test!
• Important to know
For anyone that missed any previous meetups, please review the slides archive and demo files:
“Datavized WebXR4SDGs” is a Datavized Technologies Data Solutions for Good™ initiative designed to apply WebXR technologies as inclusive and connected data systems for sustainable development. The initiative aims to address the problem of data accessibility and bridge gaps between data producers and users through the use of accessible web-based data presentation, analysis and visualization solutions. Through data-driven immersive communications tools accessible to all, we can make better decisions together to implement the Sustainable Development Goals.
