A class in self exploration based on meditation and mindfulness. We will start with some very light yoga stretches before we move on to incorporate breathing techniques, mudras and mantras with the goal of living a positive, healthy life. This class is kid friendly! This is a perfect class for all levels, especially beginners. This class will meet every Sunday from 1:30-2:30 Cost is $5 Children are free!
Reiki services with Sundri will be at A Higher Plane Wednesday, Thursday, AND Saturdays! Walk-in's are welcome always but she will be offering Wednesdays especially for walk in clients! Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive technique for helping to support the body, mind, and spirit. It is relaxing, rejuvenating, and helps to promote healing! Reiki is great for a wide range of issues including: Anxiety & depression, insomnia, pain management, illness or surgery recovery, and more! A Higher Plane-Tools for Spiritual Living
If you are looking to expand your meditation practice come join us on Wednesday evenings at A Higher Plane for an hour of group meditation. With simple guided mindfulness practices and calls to presence, this weekly group is suited for anyone who is looking for a deeper meditation experience, from teens to adults. The science of Mindfulness is real: Professor emeritus Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder and former director of the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, helped to bring the practice of mindfulness meditation into mainstream medicine and demonstrated that practicing mindfulness can bring improvements in both physical and psychological symptoms as well as positive changes in health, attitudes, and behaviors. Support your inner and outer well-being, find accountability for your self-care routine, and help bring more peace into the world! Be Here Now. This event is free to attend. Freewill donations are welcome and help us to continue to host free events to support our community.
This is a limited class, I only have 6 bolsters, so please sign up with me early to lock in your spot! We will start off with a Sun Salutation A and B series, to loosen you up and get a nice flow going and then slow it down to a nice relaxing pace and finally ending with select poses we will hold for 5 minutes a piece to get a deep stretch and promote relaxation and ease stress. I will provide bolsters and blankets, as well as offer an essential oils wrap at the end to deepen the experience. Please bring a yoga mat with you and maybe some water. I have a few yoga mats to rent out- just let me know ahead of time. 305 N Walnut is the studio! It's the loft above Time After Time, I will be there to guide you to the room!
