A friendly community for folks to just get together and discuss the world of mindfulness.
This is for anyone struggling or has struggled with anxiety, depression, stress and/or panic attacks. In the past we have even delved into other areas such as spirituality, meditation and breath work techniques. Mindfulness as a subject that really does touch such a broad range of topic areas.
Everyone is welcome!
Please do not be shy. We understand the worries and anxieties at first, but we really are a friendly group, free of judgement, who just want to listen and help. You can attend say, hello and just listen into the conversations. Sometimes you may think like talking and other times you just like to sit and listen in. That's perfectly fine, there's absolutely no pressure.
This group used to be known as 'A Little Peace of Mind'. However, as Karen mentioned a year ago it was decided the ALPOM group would have to stop. As this was such a well attended group we (Karen & Kevin) wanted to keep the group active and carry on the momentum this community had.
When socially allowed we will of course carry on with the physical meetups. However, during these random unpredictable times, we'll look at trying to arrange virtual meetups via Zoom. So watch this space.
