Starting at 6:30pm, we'll have free food sponsored by Arbormoon Software, Inc (http://www.arbormoon.com/). Please RSVP to help us estimate how much food we need.
Our main meeting will start at 7pm. The topic of discussion for our meeting will be HTTP Live Streaming by Chris Adamson.
HTTP Live Streaming is Apple's streaming technology that delivers live sports, concerts, tech talks and more to iOS and OS X devices, as well as the Apple TV. In this talk, Chris Adamson will show the server and client-side setup for HLS live and video-on-demand broadcasts, including variant playlists that adapt to clients' different bitrates, and encrypted streams that protect your content. This CocoaHeads talk will itself be livestreamed on Ustream ( http://www.ustream.tv/channel/invalidstream )
We have a local mailing list (http://groups.google.com/group/a2-cocoaheads?lnk=gcimh) please join it to take part in discussions and hear about upcoming meetings.
If you are interested in talking about an iPhone or Mac OS X development topic, or showing your iPhone or Mac OS X project please contact Dave Koziol ([masked]).
We're always looking for volunteers to talk at future meetings, so please consider volunteering.
