AAH DC Gathering for the Reason Rally

CFI DC / AAH DC Gathering Location: Our gathering point is the Smithsonian Metro Station on the Orange and Blue Lines. Specifically, we will congregate in front of the escalator on station's Mall Exit on Jefferson Drive. (Note: There is escalator access to this exit, however the elevator exit is at 12th Street and Independence Ave). You'll see our large CFI banner there!

Rally Schedule: The timing of the Reason Rally is from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EDT. But, to get a good spot, we will come together outside the Smithsonian Station earlier, starting at 8:30 AM. At 9:00 AM, we will leave the gathering point as a group and from there direct ourselves to the best location we can find.

Rally Location: The rally is gathering in view of the Washington Monument, between 12th and 14th St NW.

The expectation is that there will be large crowds at this rally, numbering in the tens of thousands. This means Metro stations and trains will be full to capacity. So it is highly recommended that you start out early to be sure you can board a Metro train in time to reach the Smithsonian Station metro at 9:00 AM and join us.

The CFI DC/AAH DC group left all together at 9 AM sharp from the meeting point in order to get a good spot near the middle on the right. Due to the large crowd of around 25,000 the group ended up splintering as we approached in order to get a better view. Apologies to all those who weren't with us and hope to see you at the next meetup.

We're here but we need further directions to you guys. Near the port-o-potties? Near the press stage? The gates in the middle? The Canadian flag?
