This is a group for anyone interested in or practicing a Whole30, Primal or Paleo lifestyle. We'll share tips and support for our eating goals and lifestyle changes. The primary focus is good food, but we're also open to topics like exercise and sunshine!
We'll share information on local food resources- stores, farmer's markets, farms, restaurants and more! We'll also plan field trips to some of these places to help each other find local, delicious and healthy food sources.
We're a friendly group of people and we welcome you whether you're just curious about these dietary options or you're a seasoned pro.
The majority of our meetups are family friendly so it's easy for everyone to participate.

We'll be having a BBQ potluck! Bring something to throw on the grill or a side dish. We'll share good food and good company.
Let us know in the comments what you'll bring so we can aim for a variety. Don't stress about your dish- you can bring something simple like veggies (or bacon) and guacamole or fresh fruit if you don't have time to cook. All we really care about is your wonderful cooking. If you want to go all out and make something scrumptious, we're down with that too though!
Please bring some sort of card or label for your dish that lists all of the ingredients (and the ingredient's ingredients). This way everyone can easily navigate to fit their requirements.
Dogs and little persons are allowed, but can't run wild and must be cleaned up after.
Don't be intimidated by showing up at somebody else's house. I have met Michaela and Ernesto and they are warm, welcoming people! Plus they have a fantastic backyard for hanging out together.
Join us for a Saturday of fun, sun, exercise and good company!
We will meet at the Cherry Hills Library and head east on the walking path about 1.5 miles to Quintessence Park for a picnic (bring your own lunch). There's also an option to stop at Heritage Hills park instead if people don't want to walk as far. We'll hang out at the park a bit and then walk back when we're ready.
Little cavepeople welcome. The path is paved, stroller or bike friendly and except for a couple of crossings at busy streets it's away from traffic.
This should go without saying, but bring whatever you might want for a walk and a picnic- sunscreen, water, food, clothing for the weather, etc.
This is (mostly) a rain or shine event. Personally, I simply love to use bad weather as an excuse not to get out, but if I put on appropriate clothes and head out anyway I normally end up enjoying myself. That said, if the weather is really, really, really awful, perhaps we'll reconsider.
