ACCU Oxford is the local chapter of the ACCU (https://accu.org/), meeting regularly to discuss a wide range of topics relating to software development.
What is ACCU? No longer an acronym, ACCU stands for professionalism in programming. We promote self-improvement for software practitioners. C++, Java, Agile, functional: whatever you're interested in, our members are too.
This is a social meeting of software professionals, with interesting conversation ranging across many software and non software topics. I have booked some tables at the back of the main bar. Food & drink is available. There is no planned talk or agenda.
Please sign up so that I can gauge the numbers attending.
Please spread the message far and wide.
P.S. Our annual programming conference, ACCU 2019, is held in Bristol in April; watch out for announcements at ACCU 2019 https://conference.accu.org/ or on Twitter @ACCUConf https://twitter.com/accuconf
If you want to give a programming talk to our awesome Oxford programming community, please contact Nigel Lester via Meetup message https://www.meetup.com/ACCU-Oxford/members/95950972/
This event is free due to the kind support of our ACCU (http://accu.org/) Members and Sponsors. ACCU Members and non-members are all welcome so spread the message far and wide. I will have ACCU Journals (http://accu.org/index.php/journal) to give away free to new attendees.
This event is sponsored by Oxford Computer Consultants (https://www.oxfordcc.co.uk/) and JetBrains (https://www.jetbrains.com/).
