The ACSJ Presents: Rosalind Ackhar, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Learn about the about the history of LLS, what they actually do with the funds they raise; research, patient access (support services for patients) and advocacy. Rosalind will wrap up with information about Light The Night, what ACSJ members can do as a team and of course, answer any questions that she can.
Rosalind is a native of the Bay Area and has worked in the non-profit arena for the past fifteen years. Prior to this, she worked at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View for fourteen years in a variety of roles, the last being in their Foundation raising funds for needed medical equipment.
For Rosalind, the most rewarding part of working for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the daily connection of her work to patients in the Bay Area.
