Rice Valley Tandem Rally, Open to solo Cyclists also

Sunday, February[masked]
Rice Valley Tandem Rally – it's not just for tandems! This great ride starts in Gridley. 100, 60 and 40 mile options featuring a loop around the Sutter Buttes (the world's smallest mountain range) in Northern California.
The ride around the world's Smallest Mountain Range circles in a clockwise direction, so the peaks are always on your right. There is a lunch stop and other services in Sutter on the southeast side of the Buttes, the only town you'll see on this ride. The ride's one climb (200') follows shortly after lunch. Then it's more gently-undulating terrain completing the loop around the Buttes, back past Gray Lodge and returning to Gridley for the post ride dinner. This is a very flat ride, but it can at times be windy, so an early start can help! Tandems and single bikes are ALL welcome! This is a Rain or Shine event.

Great start to the Century season! Several options on this one, and c'mon, only 200' of climbing.

Sorry, this weekend, I will be testing myself by riding two of the trail near my home in Brentwood totaling 26 miles twice to see if I can at least do 3/4 of the 100K. I am concerned about being able to do the Tour in May with my muscle issues which have not been resolved or diagnosed. Have a great ride. I will definitely be trying to get out to kickoff in Feb.
