Within walking distance of the charming village of Ambleside, overlooking the nearby Langdale Pikes. Ambleside Pier is situated right nextdoor.
The village has plenty of shops to browse, three cinemas for evening entertainment and plenty of great pubs to refresh you after your activity-filled day.
The Lake District is England's famous mountainous region with some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Harmonious traditional villages, sublime mountains, breathtaking valleys and heavenly lakes.
We will be in a perfectly sized group so you won’t feel crowded !
If you like you can also take an easy self-guided walk from the hostel if you prefer or do another of the many available activities for the day.
Note these are medium level mountain hikes of 4 to 6 hours per day.

Arrivals into the evening, Meet and get to know everyone. Go to town and eat in one of the vibrant eateries if you have not already eaten.
More details of all the day hikes will be released with the Pre-Trip information and will be dependent on weather, conditions and participants capabilities.
There will be a very capable trained hike leader on this trip with extensive leading experience and trained in outdoor first aid.

You will need transport to, from and during the trip to the hikes.
Public transport is not a option for this trip.

We will eat out at some hand picked local restaurants on Saturday and Sunday evening.

Appropriate walking clothes and footwear. Hiking boots are very strongly advisable for safety also waterproof trousers and warm clothes. It’s not advisable to come without a waterproof jacket
