What table top RPGs are you interested in playing right now, and what version?

My favorites among those I've played are Dresden Files RPG, Fate Core, Doctor Who: Adventures in Time & Space, and Pony Tales: Aspirations of Harmony. I like to try new systems, as long as it isn't some sort of combat-centered dungeon crawler. I'd prefer to spend a lot more time on character interaction and world exploration than combat. And I'd rather be in a smaller game, say three or four players and a GM, so that my shyness doesn't lead to my contribution being drowned out.

What board games do you like? What table top miniature games are you into? Do card games interest you?

I've played a lot of Dominion and I occasionally try a new Eurogame. But I've never done minatures or collectible card games.

Where do you live and how far away are you willing to go to play? Also what days and times are the best for you to game?

I live in northeast Cobb County and I could regularly travel about 45 minutes each way. I set my own schedule, so I could pretty much show up anytime. But I do go to about a dozen conventions a year, which makes weekends a little more difficult for a protracted campaign, particularly in the spring.

What was your first role-playing game(or nerd games in general) experience, and how does it compare to your gaming today?

My first game, in 2008, used an implementation of 1st Ed. AD&D that the DM had continued to develop for 25 years. I would have liked to have stuck with it, but it was with friends I was visiting out of state. Nowadays, I avoid D&D, Pathfinder, and anything of that sort. I've overwhelmingly been playing urban fantasy lately, though I'd like to branch out a bit more.

Are you willing to be a DM or GM, or just a player?

I'll GM my four favorite systems, above, with great enthusiasm. Anything else, I'd need to play more to increase my familiarity.

I play and GM roleplay heavy, combat light RPGs, mainly in urban fantasy settings.
