What: Join us for a walking tour of different sites in LA. These "tours" are for rapid sightseeing as we power walk our way and clear your mind.
Who: You! If you are either a college student (bring college ID) or over 21
When: Every 2nd Saturday beginning January 2019
Parking: meters, garages, whatever you can find!
Individual Cost: None
Where: The locations vary each month. We will give you instructions.
Wear: Exercise gear or casual togs with running shoes. Some months will have a theme... Participation is optional.

Rancho Park Golf Course Walk

Join us for a walk around Rancho Park Golf Course!!!! We will walk quickly, so be prepared for a workout. There will be a warmup at the meeting place. Great way to burn some calories before Memorial Day weekend. Information about Rancho Park Golf Course: Rancho Park Golf Course is a municipal golf course in the western United States, located in southern California in the city of Los Angeles. Owned and operated by the city's Department of Recreation and Parks, the par-71 course in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood was designed by William P. Bell & William H. Johnson in 1947. The fairways are Bermuda Grass and the greens are Bent Grass. Before You Come: ● Check with your physician ● Have a small meal or snack 1 - 1.5 hours in advance ● Hydrate ● Take scheduled medication as directed ● Wrap joints as needed What to Wear/Bring: ● Water ● Eyewear/sunglasses ● Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, etc. ● Fitness or casual clothing ● Running shoes (good support) ● ID ● Energy bar Disclaimer: I understand that I participate in the walks completely at my own risk. Information about Culver City Park: Culver City Park is a 41.55-acre community park with multiple levels of access.
