Plymouth Wild Turkey Ride

Ride map

October 05, 2013 (Sat) Please join us for a 50 mile ride through Plymouth County with a starting time of 10 AM. We will wander through the Miles Standish forest and see how many wild turkeys you can count. Please bring a lunch as we will dine in Bourne along the Cape Cod Canal before we start our journey back to Plymouth. There are plenty of side roads to explore with great ocean views at Manomet. This ride has a lot of fun rolling hills that are quite manageable for intermediate riders, must love hills. You must have all of the usual gear including a spare tube, helmet, bright clothing and warm layers. Bring a change of clothing for dinner afterwards at Wood's on the historic Plymouth waterfront.
Starts: in Plymouth, MA
distance:50 miles
Elevation:+ 2737/-2688ft

This ride is sponsored by the AMC Boston Chapter Bike Committee, helmets are required and participants will be asked to sign an AMC waiver which can be viewed at: http://www.outdoors.org/pdf/upload/volrelease.pdf

Can you tell me you camp site location and cell # so I can call you when we start the ride (assuming no steady rain) . Perhaps you can rendezvous with us on the ride in Miles standish. You may prefer to meet us in Plymouth at 10am at the spring st parking lot.
