Building Agile Community

Agile is based on people. Groups of people. Communities!

In agile adoptions and transformations, we find that agile thrives best when the entire organization is invested in the culture of agility. One way to achieve this is through the building of Community, either in your organization, or closely aligned outside.

We will explore the formation of Community of Practice ... or should we call it a Community of Interest? What if we called it a Center of Excellence? Believe it or not, these are loaded terms, and evoke a different idea. Let's talk about messaging. Let's talk about how you build community, and the pitfalls many stumble into that squash it.

What other forms can we think of? How do we get out the message? Are we a meetup, do we communicate via newsletters, blogs, podcast, or something else? Should you model it after Open Space or Lean Coffee? How do you drive Engagement?

Come armed with examples you have used or seen.
