As a rule, Agile methods include an aspect of customization so you can tailor them to maximize effectiveness in your organization. A common pitfall is for organizations to pre-modify the methods before verifying a need, or quantifying conditions of success. Still others tinker with the practices so much, they lose the entire point without even realizing it.
