Freethinker Toastmasters

How does it work?

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their communication and leadership abilities in a no-pressure atmosphere. There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate each other’s presentations.

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Join us in the 1st Floor Fribourgh Room at the Main Library to see what happens at a Toastmasters meeting!

Afterwards, join us for Flying Saucer Pint Night, right next door! We meet in the basement (walk into the bar area, then look to your right for the stairs) where we'll continue the fun and friendly conversation. Most pints are only $3.

I will be out sick this evening due to sickness. Rudy will no doubt lead the meeting with flawless execution. Can someone please ask for and collect charter applications from new and returning guests? http://www.toastmasters.org/CharterMemberApp

You're right Aaron. That's a big oops on my part. I'm getting ahead of myself. We're still on at the Library.

For September, Toastmasters is scheduled for the 3rd and 5th Mondays. Will Toastmasters take place on the 2nd and 4th Mondays as stated above or at other times?

Thanks for the catch. Yes, we will try to have the meetings on the 2nd and 4th Mondays for October-onward (depending on room availability). The recurring event on Meetup.com will be the definitive source of the meeting date.
