Join us for this month's lecture series where we will be discussing how to grow ASF as a positive force in Little Rock. 2013 was filled with wonderful new activities that improved the world around us, including an ASF garden at the Little Rock Zoo, a paper drive for Our House, and blood drives for the American Red Cross. These activities were initiated by individual members who rallied and organized other ASF members to get behind their cause. While we want to continue these, we want to add even more. Do you have a passion for a particular cause? Perhaps your fellow ASF members would love to work alongside you to accomplish your worthy cause. ASF can serve as an effective conduit to connect you with people who are motivated to do great things. We just need you to bring your ideas, passion and vision in achieving your mission.
This will be a laid-back opportunity for us to socialize and strategize as a group. Please feel free to bring your favorite dish or dessert for all to enjoy while you share with the group your ideas for making 2014 a year that's filled with great philanthropy for ASF.
For fascinating lectures, lively discussion of current events, AR Freethinker's news and business, join us monthly in the Cox Creative Center (http://www.cals.org/about/locations/cox.aspx), third floor meeting room. Parking is free and plentiful on Sundays in the Main Library parking lot.
We usually adjourn at about 4:30pm and walk over to the Flying Saucer (http://www.beerknurd.com/stores/littlerock/) for dinner, drinks and more fun times.
