Come out and spend time with your friendly neighborhood Freethinkers as we explore the mysteries of why we humans believe what we believe, even though some of these beliefs can be a bit on the silly side. While the brain is often credited as the most complex and sophisticated assemblage in the known universe, it is also prone to being misled and making mistakes, even though it’s only doing what it’s supposed to do to optimize one’s survival. By understanding these gaps in the brain’s ability to perceive reality, we can improve our lives by using our self-awareness to change our perceptions and our behaviors.
