* Science After Dark is a "3rd Party event" operated by the Museum of Discovery, and is not hosted by, nor an official event of the Arkansas Society of Freethinkers. We recommend and promote this event as a service to our members.

This monthly event at the Museum of Discovery (http://museumofdiscovery.org/) is for the grown-ups. Why? Because, science is fun...at any age! Science After Dark (http://museumofdiscovery.org/events/science-after-dark-4) provides visitors the opportunity to have fun and learn about science in a unique setting (without the wild, screaming kids that can often ruin a museum experience). Museum educators pick a science-related topic and build an entertaining, interactive evening around it. You never know what will sprout, pop, fizzle, or glow. We invite you to discover the science of having fun.

Did science inspire science fiction, or was it the other way around? Join us as we explore some interesting facts about ancient and modern sci-fi! Trivia Challenge, Laser Maze, Robot Races, UFO Discussion. Feel free to come as one of the following: Alien, Robot, Mad Scientist, Radioactive Lizard (think Godzilla!)

Join us the last Thursday of the month!
