What we're about

This group is for anyone interested in gathering to chat in ASL. Oriented towards learners seeking a place to meet others, practice, and share knowledge. Deaf, HoH, and hearing all welcome, as are all skill levels. The Meetups will take place monthly at François Ghebaly Gallery, a contemporary art space in the Arts District for conversations about art, culture, and whatever is on our minds. Come sign!

ASL Sign Language Chat Meetup

François Ghebaly

This is an informal chat group held at François Ghebaly Gallery, where participants can take a look at the current exhibition, enjoy refreshments, and sign together. Open to ASL signers and learners of all skill levels who are looking for a place to meet and learn about others through sign. No program is planned, so feel free to come and go. Please note: I'm far from an expert signer and no instructor will be present. This will be a space for casual conversation, not formal instruction. Got a question? Let me know! Free — No fees or dues. Image is a view of our current exhibition "X-Scapes," a solo by Sayre Gomez.
