Hello to all, I would like to remind you of some events that are happening for Atheists United this weekend, April 20 to April 22. Hope you can attend at least one of them. They are all quiet interesting.

The first is the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books happening on the Campus of U.S.C. It Runs from April 20 to April 22 and Atheists United has a booth there in which several atheist/humanist authors will be signing  their books. Atheists United will also have a variety of books and other items on sale. Stop on By, we would like to meet you. Our booth number is 994. For more info on this event click on this link

The next event is Atheists United General meeting. This takes place on Sunday April 22, 2012 at 11 AM at CFI-West. The address is 4773 Hollywood Bl in Los Angeles.  Our guest speaker this month is Janet Heimlich. She will be shedding light on religious child maltreatment.  It promises to be an excellent presentation. She will also be signing her latest book at our booth at the book festival on Sat, April 21.  For more information on this event click on this link.

A special event going on this weekend is the release of Richard Carriers book Proving History: Bayes's Theorem and the Quest for the Historical Jesus. A reception for the author is happening  at heretic house on Friday April 20, from 6 pm to 9 pm . RSVP needed for this event. For information about the event and rsvping please click on this link.
