# Automating machine learning pipelines with AWS Lambda
- Christopher Grainger

Level 300

As a researcher and data scientist, I'm much happier when I can focus on research. But ML models need quick access to clean data and then need to make a journey into production, and both of these tasks are engineering-intensive. This talk covers the lifecycle of a cloud-based machine learning model from research to production, and how automating everything but the research using Lambda makes for happy developers and happy scientists.

# Static Site Generators and AWS - are they a match made in heaven?
- Matthew Merriel

Level 200

In this talk, I will go through the process of setting up the Gatsby static website generator in a brand new AWS account. We will go through the process of creating the S3 Bucket to hold the site, CloudFront to delivery it and CodeCommit & CodeDeploy to host and manage it's deployment. At we progress through the solution we will also take a look at the pros, cons and gotchas and decide if a Static Website is right for you.
