VPC - Flying Blind on a Rocket Cycle

Matthew Boeckman from Crafsty will be speaking on VPC Migration.

At Craftsy, our business has grown, and our needs in ec2 have matured. In this presentation we'll cover topics related to VPC, and challenges observed in a production migration. Why would you bite off a massive migration like this, and should you kick yourself for not starting there? VPC can be seen as a true analog to more conventional on-prem network design practices. VPC allows you to extend your corporate environment to the cloud, and structure multi-tier network topologies. VPC requires a much more disciplined approach to network management, without giving you visibility into any of the routers involved! Flying blind indeed.
