17:30 - 18:00 Arrive / Cold beer

18:00 - 18:45 How to Use ELK to Monitor Large-Scale AWS Environments by co-founders CEO Tomer Levy and VP Product Asaf Yigal

ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) is the leading open-source, log-analytics platform that is used by companies including Netflix, Verizon, and Bloomberg to prevent and troubleshoot problematic events in their systems.

In this session, we will show attendees how to use ELK in the highly-scalable, multi-zone, and multi-region environment of Amazon Web Services. In the first part, we will review's architecture and AWS implementation as an example case that will show how we've implemented a cloud infrastructure that is multi-region, highly available, and secured -- with multiple availability zones for data ingestion. In the second part, we will show a live demonstration of how to get started with ELK by shipping, parsing, and searching log files -- and then visualizing the events to understand them.

18:45 - 19:30 ElasticSearch as an analytics engine by Izhar Ravid, Data architecture manager at Perion.

19:30 - 20:00 Open Discussion and Q&A
