Earnings Straddle Searcher by John Broussard of Optionsanalysis.com

Optionsanalyis Latest New Feature: Earnings Straddle Searcher
by John Broussard of Optionsanalysis.com

Date: July 8, 2014
Time: 6:00 pm Beginners, 7:15pm feature presentation

A Stock's Earnings is a known future event but with unknown values. Many stocks have near term options that experience an implied volatility rush before earnings. A new option trade searcher has been created that searches past earnings dates and finds the optimal days before earnings to enter the option straddle strategy.

Should the straddle be At The Money or Out of The Money? How many days out should the straddle options expire? Should you buy and sell at the open, mid day or near the close ? The optimal July Earnings straddle trades about to happen will be presented.

It would have been more informative knowing a fee was required. I too would have made sure to carry cash had I still wanted to attend.

Showed up but had no idea there was a fee - I didn't have aunt cash! Maybe just advertise that better for future events.
