Full Moon Hike - Camelback - Cholla Trail.
The summit of Camelback Mountain is at 2,704 feet above sea level. Elevation gain from the two summit trails is approximately 1,200 feet. This particular trail is not difficult from a technical perspective. However, climbing this trail during the summer in Phoenix can be quite a challenge -- bring plenty of water. Even for the beginning hiker, this trail is well marked and easy to navigate.
Difficulty: Beginner (Saddle) Moderate (Summit)
Elevation Change: ~1200ft from: 1500ft to 2700ft.
