So out of shape you don't recognise yourself anymore? Frustrated because you can't keep up with the group? You're not alone. I started this group to meet people 55+ finding it difficult to be interested in fitness, nutrition, and fun due to decreased activity from an injury or sedentary lifestyle. Beginner skill levels are welcome. (eg, Recovering from surgery I need weight loss and light activity, and my hubby has herniated disks. Hiking or bootcamp is not for us. We're slow but not imobile.) Heart healthy food choices will be encouraged at the Meetup. I envision a light (local) nature walk, BBQ/pot luck at our or other members home, and a fun evening of card/board games, etc. Come join us and reclaim your life.
