If you’re mentally still a spring chicken, but your body’s not quite convinced, it’s time to start taking some really good care of it.
This class is designed for those who've never exercised before, those wanting to get back into it again and also for those who want to feel better in their bodies.
It's going to be fun, doable, bespoke and beneficial.
The focus is on improving balance, co-ordination, mobility, posture, strength and breathing. When these elements improve so too does independence and overall enjoyment of life.

About the teacher:
Penny first came to Wellington after high school to study contemporary dance, however because of a bad ankle injury, after her course she put dancing on hold and took up body sculpting in the gym. A few years later she headed to the States to teach dance, after the US her next stop was London where she formally trained as a personal trainer and set up her business. In London Penny became a teacher of other personal trainers teaching them advanced functional movement and biomechanics. She specialised in helping her clients recover from injury and to gain easier and better movement. After over 17 years living in London Penny has recently moved back to Wellington. Her focus now is on helping older adults to regain their fitness and movement capability. She wants to help them to get back into exercise or to discover it for the first time so they can experience the freedom of feeling fit, mobile and strong. Separately from the physical classes Penny also works as a body intuitive practitioner, helping people get to the root cause of pain and injury via focusing inward.
