What we're about

We are a critique group of excited and enthusiastic writers! We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Meetings run from 6:30-8:30 at the Chicago Bagel Authority at 955 West Belmont Avenue. Each of our meetings consists of a workshop. In each workshop, we critique short stories or excerpts of novels submitted by other Abradabbers. The purpose of the Abradabra Writing Collective is to meet with other writers to give each other feedback on our writing, to motivate each other, and to talk all things writing and book related. We welcome all generes of fiction: fantasy, science fiction, literary, steam punk, romance, horror and many more! If you are a writer looking for an exciting workshop, come join Abradabra Writing Collective!
