REPLAY: An Evening with Steve Goldberd (VC @ Venrock)

  • Back in May (2016) we shared an incredibly special evening with STEVE Goldberg, an operating partner at Venrock - one of the Valley's most sought after, early stage firms.

In case you missed the livestream, here is a replay of that evening for you to enjoy:

Steve is a prominent VC in Iot, robotics, wireless and signal processing companies and has significant experience as VC, founder and entrepreneur, with profound insights to share.

Prior to Venrock, Steve co-founded DataRunway, Inc., a broadband wireless communications company and was CEO of several early stage companies including Vidient, Arcwave and CoWave Networks. During his tenure at Arcwave the company raised over $28M from a number of first tier venture capital firms including Mayfield, Venrock, SBV, Lucent, Comcast Interactive Capital and Vulcan Capital.

He currently serves in the Board of Directors of several companies: Red Seal, SV Forum, Future Dial and Quantenna Communications.

Originally established as the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family in 1969, Venrock partners with entrepreneurs to build some of the world’s most disruptive, successful companies.

Venrock led Apple's first venture round and held a board seat for nearly 20 years. Also, in its first year Venrock invested in Intel, one of the most successful chip companies in the world.
