What we're about

Our vision is to build a community of mindfulness practitioners. Every person who practices has the potential to transform society for the better. We are on a mission to play our part in that. Here are some reasons why you’ll want to come to learn to practice mindfulness and loving kindness with us:

• Access to MBCT Mindfulness welcomes anyone wanting to try out and explore the health benefits of some of the 200 mindfulness and loving kindness meditation practices in a secular setting. We lovingly support you in your meditation journey wherever you are along the path.
• Access to MBCT Mindfulness allows anyone who has completed any eight-week mindfulness-based course, to continue to be supported and sustained in their mindfulness practice. Beyond the eight-week mindfulness-based courses there is a world of practice support and deeper understanding.
• Access to MBCT Mindfulness meet-ups will help you decide if the N.I.C.E. recommended MBCT protocol is right for you at this time.
• Access to MBCT Mindfulness will prepare you for the eight-week MBCT protocol course.
• At Access to MBCT Mindfulness all our teaching is delivered with loving kindness, humour and compassion.
• Access to MBCT Mindfulness is delivered by two wonderful graduates from the University of Oxford’s Master of Studies degree in MBCT. No substitutes for the best and joyful humility in abundance!
• The Access to MBCT Mindfulness team is qualified to deliver retreats and mindfulness programmes that are also offered over weekends.
• Our vision is for a healthy society. We achieve that teaching mindfulness with its inherent ethics: no harm to ourselves or to others. One by one every person has their role to play in that vision. We sow seeds for social responsibility.
