This workshop meets in room 214 Downstairs

Make a pretty edge-grain cutting board while learning how to:
- True-up rough lumber
- Basic finishing

Tools folks will use include:
- Jointer
- Planner
- Table Saw
- Hand sander
- optional, bandsaw, oscillating belt sander, router table

Please note that tools use will be supervised and this class is not a complete primer on any tool. AMT tool certification is not required.

This class is a 5-hour class but there is a 1-hour lunch while the glue dries prior to finishing.

All materials and supplies are included in the class.

This class is suitable for beginning woodworkers.

What to bring:

Lunch! Hangry people don't learn well. Water provided. Some snacks available for purchase. A notebook or well-charged phone for taking notes.

What to wear:

Closed toe shoes, short sleeves, and work clothes. Long hair must be tied back.

Safety Gear:

Basic dust masks, eye protection, and ear protection will be provided. If you are fussy, bring your own.
