Energy Rejuvenation through Mindfulness Meditation
For the month of February we use Mindfulness Meditation and Mindfulness Techniques to clear and rejuvenate our overall energy levels.
The Mindfulness Meditations are donation-based.
Every month we use slightly different mindfulness meditative methods and tools to help us to go deeper into a meditative state. The methods and tools always correspond to the theme for the month and the vibe of the group for that evening. These may and often include:
• Always have 2-3 Guided Mindfulness Meditations;
• Cobra Pranayama Breathing, a kundalini breathing with complimenting facial acupressure points;
• Different Mudras, hand postures, and sometimes mixed with acupressure points;
• Different kundalini breathing exercises;
• Program our olfactory system and neurons towards a meditative state with a Meditation Oil.
• We sometimes use laughter yoga, toning, coloring, journaling, sound, etc...
We highly encourage you to bring a journal, so you may become aware of what method and tool worked for you. Different methods and tools may work for you, under different circumstances It is helpful however to become aware of what is helpful for particular circumstances and moods.
Erika Buenaflor has been teaching Meditative and Breathwork Training for over 10 years. After using holistic healing methods to fully recover from a catastrophic injury, where she was told that she would likely not walk again and be in pain the rest of her life, she became dedicated to teaching about the amazing gifts of alternative healing methods. Miguel Buenaflor is a spiritual musician and through music heals and awakens. He also has a knack for tuning into the body’s subtle energies, and using Balanced Movement to keep the body energetically aligned and tone.
