Where do we collect the voucher? I will be at Piccadilly 6.45 pm. Unable to make dinner. Thanks.

I buy the vouchers in books of 10 (currently $120 for a book of 10 regular admission) and sell them at 0 profit to those attending ($12 per voucher). Those coming for a meal typically get them then those meeting at the cinema can get them after the dinner group gets to the cinema.

Once you have the voucher you go to the box office and exchange the voucher for the movie you want to watch, in this case Thor. If a movie is 3D, then an additional $3 is charged at the box office, and $1 for 3D glasses if you need them. In this case the session we are going too is 2D so no extra will be charged.

    I'm coming for dinner!

OK times set, meal from 5pm. Meed for movie from 6:45pm. Enter session 7pm.

Since only 1 person replied to my 2D/3D on 16th Oct and she is no longer coming, I have chosen 2D for its 7pm session time.

I have movie vouchers $12 each.
If you are a senior, you can buy a ticket direct in the cinema for $11.
Concessions are $15 and Adult $18 at the cinema, so the vouchers will save you $3-$8.

Alison: Most likely we will go have after movie coffees.

No need to 'reserve' a voucher, if I run out I simply get a new book of 10. :)

Last time we ate at Pellagrinis before the movie (Gravity). Since Quick Stiks is closed for a while, this is likely to be the default fallback meal location as well as the after movie coffee place, and being across from the cinema, a conveniently located.

BUT, different places are good as well. I was going to suggest the Amarin Thai, but noted it was open for dinner from 6pm, and depending on when the movie session actually is, might be too late. My point is there is a variety of restaurants / cafes and we could try new ones sometimes. :)

Speaking of session, 2D or 3D for this movie? The 7pm 'time' is the default when making an entry and will often change to between 6pm and 9pm.

Pelligrinis is good. I like 9pm but not fussed with 6pm

The times were just to say the range can be from early to late evening for the start of the movie.

Great executive decision! Does anyone have any idea where we might eat in North Adelaide that isn't quick-stix? Not that I isn't a sucker for returning to a tried and true experience...

I'm happy to eat wherever. Indian is good or one of the pubs or cafes.

That indian place looks nice but expensive...
